At the September 2005 meeting of the JTC 1 SWG on Accessibility,  the establishment of the following Task Group 1 ad hoc to work between the September 2005 and March 2006 meetings of the JTC 1 SWG on Accessibility was approved:
SWG-A Tokyo Resolution 17B [SWG-A TG 1 Tokyo Resolution 4B]:  Ad Hoc #5

Ad Hoc #5:  Task Group 1 establishes an ad hoc to develop an introduction to the User Needs Summary to help frame what the document is and to assist organizations that may contribute to and/or use the User Needs Summary.  Dr. Hajime Yamada will lead this ad hoc.  Volunteers to participate on the ad hoc:  Mr. Michael Takemura (US) and Mr. James Thurston (ITI). A call for additional participants will be issued.
