Subject: Japanese National Body Contribution for N235 & N238



Dear Jennifer,

Japanese National body supports N235 and N238.

Japanese National body would like to add the following sentence to N235.
Through the SWG-A activity, Japanese National body has recognized that there is no international standard for accessibility in Personal Computer area and Office Equipment area that Japanese National body has as the Japanese Industrial Standards(JIS).  Japanese National body will submit those Japanese standards to JTC1.
Japanese National body would like to add the following sentences to N238.
SWG-A recommends that JTC1 has an accessibility session in the plenary agenda not only to maintain these documents but also to share all accessibility information around the world and accelerate developing new international standards for accessibility.
SWG-A recommends to JTC1 that these documents should be registered as more formal documents like JTC1 IWA (International Workshop Agreement).
