Hi Jennifer,

As the SWG-A liaison to the Telecommunications and Electronic and Information Technology Advisory Committee (TEITAC), I am reporting to the SWG-A that TEITAC has completed its final recommendation of Section 508 and Section 255 update to the Access Board on April 3rd, 2008. Significant harmonization with a number of international standards has been achieved in its final recommendation. The final report is available from the link below.

Evaluation of the recommendation by the Access Board is expected before the updated Section 508 and Section 255 will come into effect. I will report to SWG-A its development as its work progress.
